The Belger Glass Annex hosts Minhi England, a Seattle-based glass artist and season 3 finalist on the Netflix television series “Blown Away.” 

England’s glassblowing demonstration and artist talk will cover themes and techniques unique to her work. In England’s five-day masterclass, “Sculpt Like Everyone’s Watching,” participants will delve into advanced sculpting techniques and explore nuanced color application to achieve different surface textures and intricate patterns. 

Minhi England is a multi-disciplinary artist primarily working in glass. England earned her BFA from Alfred University in 3D studies, focused on glassblowing and metal casting. Since graduating in 2010, England has established herself as a professional glassblower, designer, and independent artist.

England has been awarded several artist residencies such as the Hauberg Residency at Pilchuck Glass School, the Hilltop Artists Residency in Tacoma, WA, Pittsburgh Glass Center Residency and has shown at Bellevue Art Museum.
